I also see some of you already have me as the big bad villain here while the truth is I don?t think I did anything so terrible under the conditions.

Perhaps you should take into consideration the entire episode before you paint me as some gun wielding woman terrorizer.

For openers this was not an attack against American Muslim woman only the outfits a few of them wear, I clearly said I had now idea who or what was under the gown when I first saw it.

I knew I would be leaving early today and the dog and I wouldn?t get our morning jog in so I decided to go last night; it was midnight or close to it. I?ve never been in that area late at night but I do know there are stray dogs there and we also had a few muggings so I decided to take my firearm with me, something I rarely do, it was well concealed and not intimidating in any way.

When I saw this thing I was concerned and I think for good reason, this is a desolate are especially at that time of night, it was pitch black save for few lights here and there and the closer it got the more I could see that the face as well as the entire body was covered
in black so I step a few feet off the path shortened the hold on my dog waiting for her to pass. There was no way that she could possibly have seen the gun at that time nor am I sure she ever saw it, I didn?t have it pointed at her and it wasn?t some big shiny metal gun it was close to my far side from her direction pointed at the ground. For whatever reason when she approached me within 5 or 10 feet she suddenly darted off the path, the only way I was able to determine it was a woman was by the sound she made but I really cant be sure what caused her to dart like that, I doubt it was my dog he?s 24 lbs and was on a leash, I assumed it was the gun but maybe it was me or the way I was acting or maybe she was some crack whore looking to rip me off.

Bottom line is if she wasn?t dressed in that garb this whole situation would never have happened and I still maintain people dressed in a disguise to that extent in public be it religious outfits or costumes should be illegal. I also know that I speak for the majority of American Muslim woman when it comes to veils and many other ways woman are forced to live in most Muslim countries.

With that said I hope we can put this thread to rest.
