Ignoring all the trolling responses here ( ignorance seems to be working quite well for you guys).
@ OP - of course there are racist people, there are in every single country. However they are most definitely in the minority here.
For the most part, Australians could not give two shits where you are from or what colour your skin is.
What the rest of the world seems to not understand is how diverse the cultures are here - we have a huge % of immigrants here from a vast number of different places. This can cause minor problems here and there due to cultures clashing.
