Don't forget that from Windows 7 on, MS corporated heavily with the NSA.
You are not allowed to wipe everything... that's why from the XP timeline, real defragmentation and deletion does not exist, everything, even defragmentation, can be reversed.
If you don't believe me, try to find the pagefile specs so you can read what's put inside.
You can't, as it is encrypted with a private key only NSA and MS have.
Try Linux Mint... you'll love it.
