That said, what's the project? It just might be something we'ce already done most of the work on. If I was convinced it would make money and the time investment were minimal, I might consider putting my team on it or referring you to someone who may be interested.

Also for some projects one could find an open source project that more or less meets your needs and sponsor development at a very low cost.
