I don't "beg" for anything. And I also can't "let it pass" or "lobby for it". I'm not in the govt.
I'm just a guy who has skin in the game and has watched piracy destroy our industry because of an outdated DMCA law. I want a copyright law that changes that.
You can sit back and type that it is "amusing" to you as if you are a wise God-like figure sitting back in amusement at our follies. heh-heh
That's what that always sounds like to me when somebody that something or someone "amuses" them.
I'll say it again: EVERY pirate and thief is against this type of law. Is it because they are fighting for some kind of imaginary virtual "freedom" that was just started a few years ago?

In the end it doesn't matter what I think. It doesn't matter what you think. Either this law will pass or another one that is similar will pass. And the law will have to pass constitutional muster. And there's nothing that me, you, or any other pornographer will have any say in.
The fact is...as I said already, the govt. can step in on us RIGHT NOW if they decide to pressure credit card companies to all stop processing adult.
And RIGHT NOW the govt. can come in and seize your website...and everything you own...and throw you in jail, even though you've done nothing wrong. Ask Max Hardcore.
This new law is aimed at piracy. Can it be turned on us? Of course it can. Does it matter? Not if something doesn't change...there won't be many of us left in business to go after if the old DMCA law isn't changed.
