This bill puts the impetus on YOU to prove you are innocent. You are guilty as charged until you prove otherwise, got it?

Just asking because I read the whole bill. Every word, and I can tell you it's not what you think it is LOL. Do you know it has a subsection regarding the military? Like sites that threaten military secrets e.g. wikileaks type sites? This gives the government the ability to classify your site as threatening national security. When are people going to learn that the laws passed often have a lot of other stuff slipped into them. You do know that the law consists of the entire text of a bill, and not just the title right?
Look, I get people here are pissed off at the tubes, thats fine. i get it, but this bill does not address the problems you think it does in the way that you think it does. I also understand that people are so beat down they accept any solution, even if it is a bad one. There is a lot of that going around and this bill wont be the last example of that coming down the pike.
Dont get me wrong. I really dont care. Let it pass. lobby for it. America is fucked anyway so in a perverse way it's kind of amusing watching it go down the tubes, you wont get a fight from me about it. Just dont come crying to me when there are unintended consequences. Unintended by you that is, the feds clearly "intend" this to be something other than what it seems, but then again, like i said i could give a fuck. I just think it's amusing how easily people beg for their own demise. It interests me from a sociological perspective the obtuseness of people in general and Americans especially.
