Nah my point would be more - every song gets overplayed if you hear it too much. Pulp porn would do for me when I was a porn rookie and porn was scarce, but I am not even interested to play a second of it anymore even I can get it for free.
For me for example - I like the kind of Vivid, Wicked movies from the 90's etc. because you had your stars and there was more chemistry. I assume they knew each other well and could actually enjoy sex in front of the cam.
But you'll find thousands of people who'll tell you it's too "old" for them. And you'll for sure find millions of people who enjoy exactly that fake porn that I can't stand.
So at the end of the day the only thing you can do is to bet on something you do well, market the hell out of it and hope it works out, product stand alone won't do anything to your bottom line unless you can effectively target its audience.
If I could own all the huge tube sites and a great portion of porn traffic I'd try to gather as many preferences as possible, see what gets the most loyal return visitors, most bookmarks etc. and target it as precisely as possible.
Quantity might not be the answer anymore on the super oversaturated market, you gotta segment and target.
