Linking to subdomain question?
Does linking to subdomains help or hurt as far as search engines. I know that there aren't many subdomains in the top positions, so that probably answers my question but, Does anyone have any real experience?

xxx.xxx.com
How about linking to external subdomains(other peoples) not within own network??
