Well, "she" is a "he" (and you all know him), and although my competitor in a way, he is a friend of many many years that shouldn't be fired over something like this.
His only mistake was not writing "this was all a joke" at the end, instead of using a big word like "satire" which was obviously missed (or misunderstood) by some of the article's critics, fanning a flame that didn't need to be there.
I'm only sticking my big nose in because some of my articles / positions have been equally misrepresented or misunderstood, so I understand how "unfair" all the commotion is.
No writer can please all readers.
