It is lame logic that if Micheal Moore has money he should be a Republican, or he is a hypocrite.
Money is power and if MM uses his money to make more films which support change, all power to him.
Of course, the reverse is more true, poor people should support revolutionary change, a poor person who votes for the rich, Republicans or Democrats, is betraying themselves, their family and their class.
