Stupid to complain about the announcement of his death on the same night. It's not like the info wouldn't have been leaked, I mean for fucks sake there was some local guy tweeting about it when it happened.
Not to mention Pakistan probably would of tried to take credit for killing him had we not announced it right away. It's not like they are "really' our buddies.
As for politicians fluffing stuff up.. well when do they not if it's something beneficial for them. You have to take any of this type of shit with a grain of salt.. Look back at that football player that got killed early on in Afghan. They were trying to make it sound like he was a hero in a fire fight when he got killed only to later find out it was friendly fire.
I mean if you really don't believe they fluff stuff up, go read some of the reports from wiki leaks from soldiers on the ground. Soldiers claim a average of 10 kills on every fight as you read through those reports. I think in reality if our guys were killing 10 in every fire fight that they would soon run out of people to shoot. When I read some of those reports it reminded me of the movie Good Morning Vietnam.
