I still remember when Johnny Depp was on that TV show 21 jump street. I never understood why it took so long for him to be recognized as top actor and I really don't understand why it only came after the Pirate series.
He did a hell of a lot of awesome movies like Gilbert Grape, Fucking "Blow" I mean how was he not recognized after that movie? Donnie Brasco as well.. He did some shit stuff too I guess but wasn't like his performances hurt the movies, they were just crap lol.
