This reminds me of when people felt bad for SpaceDog and were sending him money and shit. I'm not sure if it was all a scam or if he actually was in need of help but he was a total jackass prior. The most money I dish out for people i don't know is some pocket change for a bum or a donation to an established charity. Everyone else can go to their friends and family for help, not some random acquaintance or stranger. I've lent money to people I've known for years and haven't got paid back in some cases.
