There is no such thing as "Act of God" as long as you have comprehensive, thats why its there. Otherwise all those people who were a victim of floods, earthquakes, hail, etc. would be fucked.
You should look online for an insurance adjuster first. never try and deal with scum bag insurance companies yourself, they are all trash. Your insurance company doesnt want to have to pay for it because they are cheap assholes, thats the honest truth. I'm guessing you have an agent that you called right? He/she said "no" because they want their office claims to be low, thats why.
