And yeah, you're right about headaches (also toothaches, etc.)
I started having tremendous headaches at the beginning of the year. And NOTHING would touch them. It hurt so damn bad I was almost incapacitated.
Finally went to the doctor. He told me I was having "stress" headaches. And basically there are little muscles in your forehead and around the back of your eyes. Those muscles had constricted and were kind of inflamed and "stuck".
He gave me some Naproxen (anti-inflammatory) and a mild codeine pill. And it worked like a charm.

When I get a "stress headache" I first try "acupressure" most of the time it seems to
work. But there are some headaches where acupressure just can't do it.
Gotta go for a pill then.
Acupressure might sound silly to some people, but if they consider what you said about
the muscles being constricted, then the acupressure is simply forcing those
muscles to relax and thus the headache goes away.
