If that fails, they should be given minimum wage jobs picking up garbage or grafiti or something. We need to rebuild our infrastructure - have them dig ditches for power lines and gas lines. (I have a friend who does that really.)
This is just off the top of my head. I'm sure I can think of more.

Both the Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, and Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, get $193,400. The former Speaker of the House, Nancy Palosi, gets $223,500 and a jet airplane. President Obama makes $400,000 per year plus expenses.
After 5 years in office all get some form of retirement for life. Many will retire with their full salary for life and a few at 80% for life.
In 1989, Congress passed an amendment allowing for automatic raises, unless lawmakers specifically voted to reject it. Which Congress did until 2000 when Republicans were in charge. It's the liberal politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, who have almost ruined this country.
Today there are 413 retired members of congress that will make as much as $1.74 million in the next 10 years.
The average retiree on social security who paid in for life will get $1,200 and month after they turn 65. I can see one way to cut some cost. It's not much but given that they have not been doing their jobs, do we really have to keep this going and giving them raises? (even though we don't give them raises, they do and then they just tax us more to pay for their salary...what a fucking scam!)
And, they want to cut Social Security without even mentioning cutting their own retirement scam?
