If a company does not allow their employees to do personal things on company computers especially during office hours then it is their right. They own those computers and the connection it is using as well as paying for the employees time. No doubt. I just don't have that level of submissiveness in me, so I need to be self-employed. I'm not saying I am a better person than the mindless simpleton, employed as a cog in the machine.
Most people crave order and stability, so it's all good. For myself however, I just can't personally handle it. No offense to those who can and do.
