Our trick or treat night was tonight, instead of last thursday like everyone else. got changed because of the rain.
Last year we had maybe 10 door bell rings. Tonight, it was one after another after another. We bought 4 bags of candy, 2 reese cups and 2 M&Ms, so we thought we had more than enough...
Kids started coming around 6, then around 6:30 was HORDES of kids, one right after another. I look outside and its minivan palooza! Parents taking their kids to our neighborhood. Ahh, whatever its all the thrill. Still have about half our candy left, then comes the older kids shortly after.
I was handing candy to the one kid when, what I thought was his brother, reaches under my arm and tries to grab about 6 bags. WTF? Greedy piece of shit kids and he was probably 15 or older, no costume.
I get annoyed at this because that means these little kids get less candy. My wife hands out the rest and I run to CVS to buy $10 worth of mini bars. A bit later more kids keep coming and I saw the same kids come back two and three times. One was dressed as osama. About 8:45, after about an hour of no kids, I get a ring on the door bell. I thought it was supposed to go from 6 to 8, so I just answer the door. Its 4 kids, probably about 16 to 19, two were smoking. They said "candy? beer? both??"
I was rather annoyed at kids, old enough to know the difference, would try and reach in to grab more. My wifes parents left a container out that said "please take one" and within 15 minutes, whole basket was gone... including the basket
