Funny how that works ... know how many you actually need but produce less for the launch to build an artificial frenzy around your product. They're technically on the 5th or 6th iPhone, nobody can argue that they cannot predict demand for launch down to 500k units give or take.

Many stores are sold out. People waiting in line for something that a store doesn't have says more about the user than anything.
