What people are saying when they say "I'm straight, but I'd do a tranny" is "I'm gay but I hate myself so much, and think homosexuality is so shameful and wrong, that I can't even admit that this man with long hair and makeup is a man, and I refuse to admit and accept I am not straight".

Yes, but if he's still trying to delude himself that he's straight, like many of the gay people in this thread are, then he has issues and bigotry (against himself/gays) to work out.
