This might be a huge part of the problem. Everyone seems to think that to be in the top 1% you need to be making millions and millions of dollars. You don't. Seems that the $300k range gets you access into the 1% group.

Those are tax brackets... that's not what the 99/1 is.



This is what the part of the real 1% look like: "The 400 highest-earning U.S. households reported an average of $345 million in income in 2007"
