Problems with AlertPay

Anyone else having issues with AlertPay? I don't want to jump the gun here and assume an ePassporte debacle, but it is a little scary. Here's the email that they sent me today (that took about 5 days to answer):

Hello,

Thank you for contacting AlertPay. My name is Luis and I am happy to assist you.

Unfortunately, recent delays in our bank transfer deposit and withdrawal functionality continue to persist. Our staff are working diligently with our providers to ensure that this service is operational as soon as possible.

Please note that while you are currently unable to deposit or withdraw funds by bank transfer due to delays with US bank transfers, you are still able to deposit or withdraw funds from your AlertPay balance by other methods.

To add funds, you can do so by bank wire or by certified check/money order.

To withdraw funds, you can do so by bank wire or check.

We are temporarily offering the check withdrawal service without fees. We recommend that you use this service as an alternative to bank transfer withdrawals for the time being.

Please note that check withdrawals are made out to the name and address that appears on the account. The delivery date of the checks will vary by region, but the average delivery time is 5-10 business days.

Should you wish to use a different method for your withdrawal, simply cancel your pending bank transfer withdrawal transaction and create a bank wire or check withdrawal.

Bank transfer deposits are also experiencing unusual delays, but even though you are currently unable to deposit funds by bank transfer, you are still able to add funds to your AlertPay e-wallet by other methods.

To add funds, you can do so by bank wire or by certified checks/money order.

Please be aware that this delay is temporary and we hope to have our regular banking services up again soon.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the service delays.

Thank you for choosing AlertPay. If you have any additional questions, feel free to check out our helpful Frequently Asked Questions at https://helpdesk.alertpay.com

Kind regards,

Luis
