Paul, just because you can't afford to shoot for 5-600 bucks doesn't mean that's the norm.
I for one could shoot it and profit from it. When you start out getting paid $3000 per scene you give yourself more room to spend for that scene. When you start out getting paid less, you find every way possible short of fucking the model for money to actually profit on the content you shoot.
Not everyone started in the 60's and not everyone shoots with a 50 person team in billion dollar mansions.
I seriously doubt he's expecting top quality scenes or top quality shooters for $500.
And not all of us are trying to be "top quality porn shooters" as you keep saying. Some people just enjoy doing this and the extra money doesn't hurt either.
