Definitely take Alex's advice, he knows a thing or three about galleries.
I'd stay away from the for free sponsors for two reasons.
1 is that every TGP and their brother are using free email sponsors, so the surfers have either already signed up or passed on the program by the time they get to you.
2 is that newbies commonly think that all they have to do is plaster the word FREE all over a page and then they can just sit back and watch the money roll in.
There's WAY more to it than that. You need to learn how to lay out a page in a way that draws the surfer's eye to where you want them to look, you need to have content that matches what you're selling exactly, and you need to learn how to get inside the surfers head and find out what turns his crank so you can convince him he'll get what he needs if he buys what you're selling.
Don't use the free crutch, sell the niche and sell the site.
