Well, I figure, warn people not to do it. Those that chose to do it anyway will typically not be the frightened ones, so they will tend to be okay.
It is powerful, so warnings are called for. Especially in a place like this, with lots of fairly immature people. It's possible to hurt yourself with it, as with any powerful tool.
So, it's aldous for the immature and uptight, tim for the experienced and the curious...
I thought Tim was very clever, loved his books, and hope to see his ideas readdressed sometime in my lifetime.
I'm curious about these tales pf people who "took so much they went crazy" and are on disability. I've known a lot of people in my time who have taken psychedelics, some in heroic doses, but I don;t know anyone, nor have I heard from anyone I know of anyone, that got so tripped out they are now on permanent disability.
But here we got at least two claims of such a thing.
You would think this was big news and the major anti-drug warriors would be holding up such people as morality tales, but I don't recall seeing anything like that.
So, is it urban folklore?
