My first concert was Lynyrd Skynyrd and Atlanta Rhythm Section back around 1976 at the same venue. The whole concert atmosphere blew me away and I tried to go to any good ones that came after that. After awhile a friend and I got into a contest to see who could go to the most concerts and we began to save the ticket stubs. I think at that time i had already been to about thirty and that was around 1979.
One day I decided to make a framed collage of my big bag of ticket stubs which I now have hanging on my wall. When I saw Dean's post I went and looked at the collage and sure enough there was a stub from 1979 so I had to post it.
I think I've seen Van Halen about four times including the Monsters of Rock Tour.
I made the collage about 12 years ago and everyone that comes over gravitates to it and it becomes a great conversation piece. I have been keeping other ticket stubs from races and events and whatever else you get a ticket for and someday will redo the framed collage to triple its present size.
