At this point, if you want traffic, focus on building a good site, in a field which you have a chance. Build it into a legitimate website, that users like, that Google likes (which day by day is becoming closer to the exact same thing - it is getting harder to trick Google), and that can give you a sustainable income. I'm making around $10k a month right now in mainstream off 2 sites. I work maybe 5 hours a week on them, if that. Building a legitimate, sustainable business also allows you to invest in talented people, or other projects. Just my opinion.
