Yes, YES, YES - PEOPLE WHO SAY IT CANT BE DONE JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT, LOL
good lesson for new folks (works for me anyway, lol)
The reason there are so few that do (yes, i do) is because it takes a certain type of thinking to make that type of money. You need to be deversified. you need to think OUTSIDE the box. Its not likely going to come ONLY from making new blogs or ONLY from media buys etc. The key (for me anyway) if to work smart. Look at a situation. Find a way to take an existing deal going on, whether its your deal or a deal between 2 other people / companies and break it down. example...
Say you have a webmaster or group of webmaster sending a couple hundred joins a day to programs all using the same method. THINK about the entire flow from traffic to final sale. Now, think about how more money can be generated from that traffic without effecting the existing sales.
We did a deal where we tapped about 10 friend who were sending about 1000 sales a day using roughly the same type of pages to a handful of programs. Thats a lot of traffic. Now if you use COMMON sense you can see that if 1:500 users that hit their J1 are going on to buy, that means 499 people are not

Thats a lot of people that chose to click through to that page because they were interested in that type of product. They may not buy, but you have their attention and they can easily be convinced to buy something else along the same lines. Im not giving away the secret sauce, but in the example above...we came up with an idea that didn't require us to get traffic, didn't require us to have a product and didn't require us to lay out much cash to implement. We took a GREAT idea that let our friends make more $ from their existing traffic, didn't effect their existing sales and let us earn $x,xxx, xxx last year buy just directing the users that didn't want to buy the product they were offering and show them something else (its slightly more complicated, but you get the idea)
A very small % are able to look at things this way and create $ out of thin air. Webmasters win, we win, programs getting new sales from being plugged in the middle wins. Everyone is happy. We own a host of web based businesses from sites / networks to tubes and co-reg. And everything in between.
The readers digest version: There is a SHITLOAD of money to be made online. If you are new and trying to get there by sticking to one path (especially the traditional affiliate path) you will likely not reach your goals. You may work your ass off for a few yrs and be alb to pay bills etc, Im talking about $x,xxx, xxx money. And no matter what anyone says on this board, there are shitloads of people making it online. Just don't pigeon hole yourself. Keep your EYES open, look at EVERYTHING going on around you and try to think about how it can be improved and generate more revenue without building it from the ground up. 2c
