If we both start with $100 and I go to a bar and spend all of my $100 and you instead use your $100 to start a business and get rich, should I afterwards complain that you have more money than me?
(caveat: I am aware of the fact that not all rich people made their fortune in an honest way, but for the sake of argument (whether or not the difference between rich and poor people is a form of injustice per se) we'll ignore that fact)
