The results of it works like a stimulus program, however it works more like a deferment than a stimulus, the money you put in is the money you take out.
Almost every single person on unemployment & food stamps due to the recession is net positive with the Gov and State... meaning the Gov/State owes them money, they don't take "our" money and give it to them.
That is after all, why all of us pay in to this.... young, old, new worker, lifetime worker, all of us.
