I'm going to assume that you want it for adult work so it probably isn't what you're looking for but I just bought one of those GoPro Hero HD cameras for $260 and I'm amazed as to the quality and versatility.
Last week I took it out for a Kayak trip down a crystal clear stream and got some beautiful shots above and below the water. I stuck it on a 6 foot pole and filmed fish, turtles and almost got an otter but he didn't come close enough.
This camera is all about getting a unique perspective with HD results on a dirt cheap budget. Perfect for me
