I have a friend that's a mortician, the things he's shown me, and he's told me, you couldn't make up if you wanted to.
I also worked at an old folks home for a year when I was 19, that really put things in perspective for the rest of my life. So many great interesting people, slowly dying, with nobody visiting them, but somehow making the best of their last days. The human spirit is resilient
