If you have road racing tires or radials on it you'll never get it to hook up on the street going straight.
You could get a pair of Mickey Thompson Wrinkle Wall Street Slicks, it will hook up!! If you do that, you'll want to put skinny tires on the front to replace your radials or you'll be all over the road. That way, when you want to drag, you just change the tires and blow away your competition.
btw, the Viper you beat must have been bone stock

I still have my Viper if you want to run at a track, it has 825 hp normally aspirated
