Example: 3 or 4 months ago (In Spring) when the garden birds were breeding etc... I used to go out at night to hear 'Squealing' from underneath a tree...
On taking a closer look, I could see a patch of around 20 of the new born, baby birds, that the parents had buried up to the neck, in the soil... They wanted feeding and were unable to move and were calling out for food...
I turned on the light, only to discover that they had cleverly turned into a patch of Crocuses...
