NAFTA is still a great idea, but spoiled lazy American union workers don't want to upgrade their skills, which is what is necessary for NAFTA to work to the advantage of the USA. They want to be paid for seniority, they want COLAs, etc..etc.. They want top dollar for menial work.
Hungrier foreign workers will compete hard on merit and cost.
