I was with 2/18th F.A. attached to the 18th Airborne during desert storm and we had an O-5 whose wife's public antics, with his name attached, got him in all kinds of shit, and he was never able to pass a promotion board afterwards. He ended up RIFing out 4 years later, still an O-5
