It was always thought to be 2% of males in the US and UK. Looking at the retail sales figures of offline porn in both countries it's clear to see why they estimated it to be that.
2 UK mags were doing 600K a month. Add the rest and you see where the figures come from.
Today it's no where near that. 0.01% maybe. Absolutely no more than 0.05%.
