Using the Internet to send threatening messages or post address information so other people can contact a victim is a stalking crime

Bill 6052 prohibits information that can be used to contact a victim or the victim's family members if the person intends for other people's actions to cause terror, fright, intimidation, harassment or molestation.

Penalties ranging from a misdemeanor punishable by one-year imprisonment to a felony and five years imprisonment. There also is a two-year imprisonment felony charge for juvenile offenders if the defendant is five years older than the victim.

The bill exempts Internet and network service providers if the company provides the communication service in good faith and does not have knowledge of the act committed.
