I think the best way to approach it would be the friends method. For example, you can say that a friend of yours from work or whatever wanted a boob job but didn't know how to suggest it to her husband, what does your wife think of it and does she have any advice for this fake friend of yours? It will basically open the dialog about fake boobs and I think you might be surprised at her response. Maybe she already secretly desires perfectly crafted boobs and you just didn't know it so this method will help you get her talking about it.
