Why should world opinion be high about him? He did not care about world opinion when he went to war on the premise that Iraq had WMDs that could be used within minutes. That now turns out to be less than the truth. But he sold that to Americans as well and sent US troops to die, yet you still protect him.
What was his involvement in the Enron scandal? What has he done about it and the other similar companies that were over valued to line the pockets of the few with pension fund money?

Europeans are mostly leftists. They'll never like any US republican president.
The events that led to the Enron scandal happened during the Clinton administration as did the over valuation of the stock market (referred to by leftists as that great economy Clinton single handedly created through his genius and hard work).
