The entire house is on the generator and it can supply enough power to run the stove, oven, fridge, washer, dryer, TV and computers all at the same time.
Honestly I wish the power would go out for days during the winter. I'd be selling hot pop tarts and hot ramen noodles for $10 each.

Yeah I think propane is the only way to go. Portable or big like you have.
