He was basically trying to hit on the most controversial bits from the book and stuff she's said in the past, which I guess is for ratings so I can't blame him for trying, but still, if it's clear she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction, why press it and press it and press it? Especially when he could tell he was pressing her buttons. Regardless of whether she walked off or not, it'd be the quickest way to never get another interview with her again.
