Honnestly, this is what happens usually with translated websites (i mean with google translate), so this is also a general reason.
Also, since i work in english and since my own english is far to be perfect, i feel more confident if i have some english sentences to use to describe my content. So it is better if i don't have to translate again some poorly translated sentences.

are you from Quebec by any chance? Cause I fail to see why it would matter to anyone that when using a translator service that the grammar gets lost in translation and that the issue should be rectified by the site owner(s) themselves.. Kind of like a french person going to an english country and getting angry because the signs are in broken english and your pocket treanslator can't make sense of it .
