oddly enough my mom was visiting my aunt in memphis around that time and she stopped by graceland with me to take some pictures at the gates. On our way out ambulances past us by and she found out later on the radio that he died.
I was only 6 months old at the time but always thought it was an odd coincidence considering we lived in the toronto area and that's the only time I have been to memphis.
