FORBES: FriendFinder Losing Friends As Q2 Results Miss Estimates
FriendFinder Networks shares are taking a beating this morning after the operator of online dating sites posted disappointing results for the second quarter.
For Q2, the company, which also publishes Penthouse magazine, posted revenue of $83.37 million and a loss of $11.9 million, or 55 cents a share, including a $7.3 million loss on the early extinguishment of debt and $5 million related to the settlement of a legal case. The Street consensus (based on just two analysts) had been for $87.1 million and a profit of 14 cents a share. Revenue was down slightly from $84.6 million a year ago.
FFN is down 55 cents, or 13.8%, to $3.45.
