I think this is why we need a socialized medical system in the USA. There are a lot of people "marginally employed." if you are working as a burger flipper or a rocket scientist ? you are working and should have a basic healthcare provided. Private enterprise has failed at this ... This is beyond debate ? it is fact.

Maybe, a two tier system is needed where there is supplemental insurance for consumers to buy to pay for non-essential medical, dental, chiropractic and other health care needs.

There is no reason for a person to work hard to live in misery or die prematurely in a civilized society.

Medicare should be for all as a 'right.' I would rather pay for this healthcare than for the tax on income made by speculators and cartels profiting off price rigging and government 'bail outs' for losers ...
