There has been a tussle, quite invisible to many of us, for rafts of patents held by various tech companies, large and small. The stakes are pretty high given that lawsuits are preventing some products from being launched.

Samsung has been prevented from launching it's Tablet in Australia by the courts pending a trial later this year.
