I'm not gonna comment on "wigger day" because it sounds rather dumb.
But I remember a few years back a Jewish professor came to his office and found a swastika on his door. A few people where charged with a hate crime, that's fine, but he wasn't in any hurry to remove the swastika and left it there for over a year. For him, the swastika didn't represent the deaths of millions of people. Instead, the swastika represented the defeat of Third Reich and everything they stood for.
Same thing with the Confederate flag. Why would you fly a flag that stands for defeat?
