What I always think is funny is that we dated in 2000. At that time, I could just drive onto Fort Meade and go to the barracks by showing my ID to a single guy with a sidearm. I could even drive into the parking lots of the NSA buildings.
A few years later I was going through the area and they had built a bunch of new roads for entry and exit from the base. I didn't know what was what, but my GPS told me to take an exit that really entered into the base. When pulling up to the gate there were at least 10 guards with machine guns trained on me. I explained my GPS error, I got a bunch of shady looks, they had to scan my ID, sniff my car, use under-car mirrors and then keep their guns trained on me as I pulled in 200 feet for the turnaround.
Talk about changes.

Base security is going to depend on the base, getting to see my daughter when she pulled into Coronado Island on the USS Ronald Reagan was painless, just showed ID's.
Security guards never have a sense of humor, but they don't have lives either

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
