What your gonna grow your own food? You know you can buy a 50 lb bag of rice for $18.00. I wander what the same thing was 100 years ago. Mass producing food has brought the cost down so low most people don't even budget their food expenses. In reality for what you get food is dirt cheap. Maybe what 5% of someones monthly expenses? Maybe 10%. I'm willing to bet that 100 years ago it was 50% of a family's expenses.
